This week Coco and I attempted this cake we found on Pinterest! It is so beautiful and we were just hoping to end up with a final result that minutely resembled it.

We were smarter this week and I made the vanilla cakes ahead of time so that they were cooled and ready to be iced during our Sunday afternoon baking date! We started by making a buttercream icing that Coco has made a million times- hoping that this would be foolproof and not end up terribly like our last buttercream experiment.

We had SO MUCH FUN going back and forth decorating the cake, each adding our own twist.

The final product was close to as lovely as the pinterest cake, and tasted delicious! Maybe our best project yet?
