For Thanksgiving this year myself and the little guy I nanny wanted to make cupcakes that looked like turkeys. We found some inspiration by looking up turkey cupcakes on Pinterest!

First we made a trip to the grocery store to hit up the bulk bins and explore what candies might work for each turkey feature.

After some serious taste testing of the candies we got to work. First step- chocolate cupcakes.

Decorating the cupcakes using chocolate icing and all the different candy was so fun! These are some of my final products- they looked just slightly better than the ones created by my 5 year old!
